Naxos 2012 Conference of Quantavolution

The Ursulines Monastery, Naxos
For our Conference of Quantavolution 2012, we convened in the Aegean island of Naxos August 2nd-5th. The island administration put at our disposal the newly restaured XVII. Century Convent of the Ursulines, at the top of the fortified medieval kastro, which has been recently equipped as a state of the art Conference Center. We are most grateful to Mayor Manolis Margaritis, to the president of the Conference of Mayors, Dimitris Lianos, and Kostas Pagonis, the friendly and helpful manager of the facilities. We recommend warmly the Convent of the Ursulines as a venue for meetings and conferences in an original, peaceful and somewhat out-of-the-way setting.

The participants were lodged at the Iliada Studios, which have a beautiful view over the old city, the harbor, and the island-temple of Apollo, enjoying the lavish breakfast buffet of nearby Hotel Grotta.
